Ios island wedding Greece. I think the best way to welcome 2020 on the blog is to be grateful for the year that just ended. It’s been quite a year indeed. I want to show you many beautiful moments, but let me start with one particularly important to me. It has opened a new chapter in my professional life and left me hungry for more experiences than ever before. And that moment was the wedding of Alicja and Panos on a beautiful little Greek island called Ios. I got to spend five lovely days in Greece, wandering around and soaking the sun. That gave me a chance to settle a bit in a new climate, breathe some southern air, clear my mind, and do what I love the most – photograph.

Paradise island Ios

Ios – located near famous Santorini is a paradise to anyone looking for tranquility and escape from overcrowded destinations. You can easily roam far and wide in one day, but there are many beauty spots which make you stay longer. There’s also a fantastic everyday show which gathers all people in vary viewpoints on the island – sunset. One of the most spectacular on this planet. On The Rocks Villas has a beautiful private spot to contemplate sunset as well. That’s where Alicja, Panos, and their guests celebrated their special day. I would highly recommend visiting Ios for its narrow streets, white houses, beautiful beaches and tasting a  little luxury at On The Rocks Villas.

Planning a destination wedding

Alicja and Panos have proven that bold ideas bear fruit. Planning a wedding can be a tight and stressful task, even without traveling thousands of kilometers to reach the venue. I was much impressed seeing Alicja and Panos totally relaxed just two days before the big day. They indeed had absolutely nothing to worry about thanks to working with amazingly talented girls from Santo Weddings. Maria and Manouela did a fantastic job making sure everything is in place for Alicja and Panos’s dream wedding on a remote paradise island. I feel fortunate I’ve witnessed this beautiful thing. I’m grateful to Alicja and Panos for this opportunity and for helping me open a new exciting chapter in my professional life.
